Event Production Services

Every department under one roof — we staff, design and engineer the whole show, so nothing gets lost between vendors.

Event production services is a phrase that hides a lot of separate jobs: someone has to design the audio system, someone has to hang and program the lights, someone has to build the stage it all sits on, someone has to previz the look before a case ships — and someone has to be accountable when two of those decisions conflict.

California Creative Studios provides all of them in-house. Eleven disciplines, one production team, one point of contact: music, audio, lighting, video and LED, staging, backline, stage design, crew placement, tour planning, pre-production and rehearsals.

Take the whole package or book a single department. Either way you get senior people who've done it at scale, in Los Angeles, across California, in Las Vegas and on tour.

FAQ

Event production services, answered.

What are event production services?

Event production services are the technical departments a live event runs on — audio, lighting, video and LED, staging and rigging, stage design, backline, crew, tour planning, pre-production and rehearsals — plus the people who design, build and operate each of them. Booked together they cover a show end to end: budgeting and scope, design and previz, load-in and build, show operation, and strike.

Can we book a single service instead of full production?

Yes. Plenty of clients take one department — an audio system with engineers, a lighting package, crew placement to fill positions on an existing show, or pre-production to get a plan and a budget together. There's no requirement to take the whole package.

Do you supply the gear, the crew, or both?

Both, and you can take either on its own. Most shows are a package of equipment plus the engineers and operators to run it, but we also place vetted crew onto shows where the gear is already handled.

What's included in pre-production?

Site survey, scope and budget, run of show, load calcs and rigging plots, previz of the stage and lighting looks, labor and freight planning, and a schedule that survives contact with the venue. It's the department that prevents most of the problems the other departments would otherwise have to solve live.

How early should we bring you in?

As early as you have a date and a venue. The cheapest fixes happen at the design stage — a screen size, a rigging point, a power decision — and get expensive once gear is on a truck. Even a short pre-production conversation months out usually pays for itself.

Where do you provide event production services?

We're based in Los Angeles and work across California — the LA basin, the Bay Area, San Diego, Orange County, Sacramento, the Central Valley and the Central Coast — plus Las Vegas, and we travel nationally for tours and multi-market programs.
