Audio engineer at a mixing console in a dark concert venue

Audio

A show lives or dies at the PA.

FOH, monitors, RF, system design and tuning — engineered to translate the artist's sound to the last row.

Audio is the most scrutinized department in live production. One feedback squeal, one dead wireless channel, one muddy front-fill and the whole room notices. Our engineers spec the right box count and rig configuration for the room, tune the system to the venue rather than a marketing graph, and run a mixing position that is calm enough to hear the details and fast enough to fix them before the artist does.

  • Line array, point-source and column system design and tuning
  • FOH and monitor mixing for bands, broadcasts and spoken word
  • Wireless RF coordination, in-ear monitoring and microphone packages
  • Stage patching, sub-snakes, digital splits and redundant playback
  • System techs, drive racks, networking and showfile management

What we do

Scope of work.

01

System design

Coverage modeling, box count, rigging loads and amp racks sized to the venue and the rider.

02

Tuning & alignment

SMAART, measurement mics, delays, EQ and sub alignment — tuned to the empty room, then adjusted to the crowd.

03

Mixing

FOH and monitor engineers who know the songs, the cues and when to stay out of the way.

04

RF & comms

Frequency coordination, IEM management, wireless handoffs and wired comms across departments.

How it runs

From advance to strike.

Step 1

Design

Room size, audience coverage, rider needs and budget to a rig list.

Step 2

Prep

Showfiles, wireless scans, mic lists, stage plots and spares.

Step 3

Load-in

Hang, patch, ring out, tune and align before the band arrives.

Step 4

Show

Mix, coordinate RF and monitor the system for every change in the room.

Gear & brands

The tools we choose, and why.

We're brand-agnostic and rider-driven — but we know these platforms cold. Explore the consoles, PA systems and processing we deploy, and why each earns its place on a live show.
